Causes of Common Cancers
Brain Cancer |
The brain controls everything that we do. When our cells die out they are replaced with new ones, but in some cases the cells create "extra cells" that eventually led to a brain tumor. Brain cancer can start with the formation of a brain tumor.

Lung Cancer |
Smoking and secondhand smoking cause "about 90%" of lung cancer and cigarettes seem to play a significant role in this. Cigarettes have a chemical compound in them which damages our DNA and the damaged DNA creates more cancer cells. This type of cancer is known for spreading more quickly than any other cancer.

Liver Cancer |
Alcohol and diseases such as Hepatitis are leading factors in the development of liver cancer. The liver controls the breakdown of foods and converts it into energy. The liver is the organ that "break down old or damaged blood cells." These situations result in a damaged liver and possibly liver failure which lead to cancerous cells in the body.

Breast Cancer |
Similar to lung cancer, breast cancer forms due to damaged cells. It has been proven that damaged cells are "always" the cause of breast cancer. People who usually get breast cancer are asked if it runs in the family or if they drink because it provokes the cells to retaliate and create more cancer cells.
